Part 3: Visual Year in Review

2024 has been a transformative year—a true visual year in review of growth, discovery, and creativity. From settling into Bekkrbua and creating a home surrounded by nature to reigniting my passion for film photography, this year has been filled with meaningful milestones and cherished memories.

This visual year in review encapsulates moments that defined my journey. The quiet mornings at Bekkrbua offered a chance to slow down and truly connect with the surrounding landscape, while travels in Knotten provided freedom and new perspectives. From the rugged coastlines of Jæren to hidden corners of Norway’s forests and lakes, every destination told a unique story.

Bekkrbua became more than just a cabin—it was a haven for creativity and personal reflection. It gave me the time and space to rediscover my love for analogue photography, a craft that brought a tactile, timeless quality to my work. The hands-on process of shooting, developing, and scanning film was both challenging and rewarding, reminding me of the magic that comes from slowing down and embracing imperfections.

While the serenity of Bekkrbua grounded me, the open road brought a different kind of inspiration. Traveling with Knotten allowed me to explore Norway’s landscapes in depth, capturing fleeting moments of light, shadow, and emotion. The diverse beauty of the coastline, woodlands, and mountain ranges made every trip unforgettable.

Through this gallery, I hope to share not only just the travels I’ve explored but the emotions and growth I’ve experienced along the way. This collection is a celebration of 2024’s journey—a reminder of the beauty that surrounds us and the stories waiting to be told. Here’s to honouring the past and embracing the adventures yet to come.
